Harlow Gold

Muhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhh, I have chosen a name for the Barbie-blonde Mane Beauty head (aka Sunset). We’re going with Harlow Gold, which I took from the first line of the 1980s version of the song “Bette Davis Eyes,” sung by Kim Carnes. “Bette Davis Eyes” was originally composed and written by Jackie DeShannon and Donna Weiss in 1974, and Jackie DeShannon sung and recorded the song for her 1974 album New Arrangement. Here’s a look at Harlow Gold with her mane free from the elastics she wore in her box:

So, now she was in need of a new hairstyle. I tried using one of my hairpins on her, which was trying because her mane is quite slippery and that mane is just a narrow strip. The results:

Side view, with the silver prongs visible and looking bizarre:

I’m still working on a name for Dapple the dapple grey head, so once I think of something I’ll post the newly named dapple grey head with a new hairstyle here. Oh, the suspense! Lololololol!
