The SMC is kicking off with Dax! Breyer describes him as follows: “Dax, a delightful Appaloosa Fighting Stallion, has a richly-shaded dun coat that has been decorated with a large Appaloosa blanket and features blue interference.” Interesting that Breyer is using interference again in this year’s club. Last year it was purple interference on Raider, I believe.
Oh looky here! Because of the delay in getting this post up, my Dax appeared a couple of days ago so now I can post in hand photos of him:
Dax is painted quite nicely, and as for the interference, it looks purple to me. The interference is limited to his head and the left side of his tail (the right side is devoid of the purple):
Overall, I am happy with this little guy, but I do wish Breyer would not bother with the purple/blue interference paint. He would look just as nice without it.
