January 1, 2022 Marks One Year

 

Yesterday was the one year anniversary of this blog. A lot happened during the last year; mostly good things, but there were also some incredibly sad events which occurred as well. Dreams came true, friends and family were lost, realizations were made, goals changed, life redesigned. When I began this blog, I wasn’t sure if I would even make it halfway through 2021, let alone the entire year. 

I am terrible at keeping up with email, and I just went through the email associated with this blog. I discovered that readers have left comments that never showed up on the blog for some reason, so I never saw them. The emails state, “So and so left a comment on your blog…” but there is no sign of the comments in the blog. If you are one of the commentators and I never responded, that is why. I apologize and I shall endeavor to check my email more often (a new New Year’s resolution, lol).
